You are invited to join us on a meaningful spiritual journey in preparation for the Lenten Season to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament and EWTN, along with a visit to the Ave Maria Grotto.
The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, located in Hanceville, Alabama, is a beautiful place of worship and reflection. It features stunning architecture and serene surroundings, allowing pilgrims to deepen their faith through prayer and contemplation.
EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), founded by Mother Angelica, is also located nearby. It has become a major Catholic media network, providing programs that educate and inspire countless viewers on their spiritual journeys. Pilgrims often take the opportunity to tour the facilities, learn about the network’s history, and attend live shows.
The Ave Maria Grotto, often referred to as “Jerusalem in Miniature,” is a remarkable outdoor miniature park created by Brother Joseph Zoettl, a Benedictine monk. The grotto features over 125 miniature buildings and shrines, each representing places of significance in the Holy Land. Strolling through this peaceful setting offers a chance to reflect and pray while appreciating the artistry and devotion behind each piece.
